How is Convergence calculated?

1. We define the destination. Future You defines the reference state across five parts of life. A full score means that specific state is already true—not that your life is objectively perfect.

2. We measure the distance. You place “You Now” honestly on each dimension, then observations show whether that position changes.

3. We measure movement. If that distance shrinks, you are converging. If it grows, you are drifting.

4. Practice is tracked separately. Morning, Noon and Evening do not give you free points. That lets us later compare full-practice days with partial-practice days and see whether the practice is actually associated with better movement.

The experiment. You define D* before observing the results. The practice is the intervention:

A value of 1 does not mean a perfect life. It means the specific state you described for that dimension is already true.

Distance. The app measures weighted distance from your defined state:

d(Dₜ,D*) = √[Σ wᵢ(D*ᵢ − Dₜ,ᵢ)²]

Convergence. Distance is normalized into a Convergence score:

Cₜ = 1 − d(Dₜ,D*) / dₘₐₓ

Two things are recorded. State convergence tracks how much of the defined state is present. Observable evidence records what concretely happened—money received, an opportunity appearing, a conversation occurring, work completed, a physical change, or another event relevant to D*.

In plain English: define the destination first, repeatedly inhabit it through the practice, record what actually happens, and measure whether your observed life-state moves toward that pre-defined destination over time.

What the experiment can establish: the mathematics measures change in the state and evidence you record over time. Because the observations are self-reported and the experiment is not independently controlled, convergence can reveal a pattern or association; by itself it cannot prove that a quantum, supernatural, or other specific mechanism caused the result.
